About

We sell one thing

Hushwood is a 300 ml ultrasonic aroma diffuser. That is the whole shop. There is no second product, no subscription, and no plan to add a candle line next quarter — just the diffuser, and a gift-set option with four oils so it works the day it arrives.

The reason is simple: a shop that sells one thing has to be right about that one thing. We cannot hide a mediocre product behind forty others.

Why this, and not a candle

Candles are lovely and we own several. They are also a commitment — you light one when you sit down and blow it out when you get up, and the room smells good for exactly as long as you are in it, watching it. Anything that runs unattended has to either not burn, or not be trusted.

An ultrasonic diffuser does not burn anything. A small ultrasonic disc under the water vibrates fast enough to lift the surface off as a cool mist. No wick, no soot, and no small decision to make on your way to bed. When the water runs out, it stops.

Why this price

The ceramic diffusers in design shops are genuinely beautiful and cost well over €100. The cheapest ones look like it. We wanted the shape and the quiet of the first at closer to the price of the second, which meant choosing a wood-grain shell over hand-glazed ceramic and not pretending otherwise.

What you are paying for is the part that matters: a 300 ml tank that mists for 8–12 hours, a remote and timer so you never get up to switch it off, and an auto-off that works.

How we work

Hushwood is small. Orders are picked and shipped by our fulfilment partner, which is why delivery usually takes 6–13 working days rather than two — we would rather tell you that up front than surprise you at day nine.

Email reaches a person, not a queue, and gets answered within one working day. If something arrives broken, we replace it — you do not pay to send a broken diffuser back.

What we will not do

  • Write our own reviews. The reviews section on this site stays empty until real customers fill it. If you see a number there, it is a real number.
  • Invent a crossed-out price. The price you see is the price. It is not "reduced from €99".
  • Run a countdown timer. Nothing here is about to run out in nine minutes.
  • Promise two-day shipping. It usually takes 6–13 working days. Saying otherwise would just turn into a refund and a bad week for both of us.
